The Great Canadian Cover Up, Part Two: The Missing Womens’ Inquiry, or Making the Getaway look like a Bust

by Kevin D. Annett

We always knew a fix was coming down when the local Chief of Police started public grandstanding and making noise to the press about holding “criminal inquiries”. That was his way to warn his mob buddies to make their getaway and hide their shit before they were really exposed. Governments are no different. - Retired RCMP officer George Brown, Vancouver, 2006

It not just our women who are going missing. Whole families are disappearing. Our northern indigenous communities are being terrorized and wiped out for their land by big corporations and their hired RCMP thugs. It’s the residential schools genocide taken to its next step. – Carol Martin, Vancouver, 2009

 crime

…………….

It was fitting that when I read tonight of the new Liberal government’s grandstanding announcement of yet another “inquiry” into missing aboriginal women I was standing across from the Georgia hotel in downtown Vancouver. Native prostitutes go into the Georgia all the time and are never seen again, since it’s also a private club for the Vancouver police and senior judges. But most people don’t savvy the connection, any more than they understand government “inquiries” for what they really are.

Hot on the heels of the immense camouflage called the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), the diminutive Prime Minister Trudeau the Lesser has launched his own smoke and mirrors effort, equipped with all the right phrases. This one is aimed, not surprisingly, at that other genocide that’s giving Canada such a bad name and damaging its global credit and tourism rating: namely, the restrictively labeled “missing aboriginal women” matter. And as a neophyte who still looks like he doesn’t need to shave, wee Justin Trudeau has got to make this latest farce look convincing.

Of course, behind the political imperative of a new facelift for the nation is the reality that, like all “official investigations” emanating from Ottawa, this “Missing Women’s Inquiry” will have no teeth and no balls, nor the legal power to do anything besides make flaccid “recommendations”. Did somebody say TRC, Part Two?

For one thing, the very groups that have for years blocked and disrupted genuine efforts to find those responsible for the disappearances are the same ones in charge of this “inquiry”. Foremost in this regard is the misnamed “Native Women’s Association of Canada” (NWAC), a wholly funded, owned and operated subsidiary of the government, set up like the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) to divert and hijack genuine indigenous movements for change. NWAC will be leading the Inquiry, so don’t hold your breath.

For another, the “Inquiry” has already announced its plans to “work closely with the existing police investigations” into missing women. The what? There are no such investigations; or more accurately, whenever one begins, it gets shut down very quickly by those same police bodies. But don’t believe me. Ask a cop himself, like George Brown.

George is a west coast aboriginal man and a retired RCMP officer with over twenty years on the Force. In the spring of 2006, he and a few others tried setting up their own “Community Inquiry into Missing People” based in Vancouver’s downtown east side neighborhood where so many native people were and are disappearing. Their efforts lasted not even six months before the Vancouver police literally put a gun to George’s head and told him to back off.

As George remembers,

“From the eyewitnesses and even a couple of insiders, we were getting very close to finding out which senior cops and politicians were involved in the human trafficking and even some of the killings. That’s when the boot came down. I had to stop what I was doing if I wanted to live, it was that simple.” (1)

Annie Parker was one of the eyewitnesses. Kidnapped and tortured by Vancouver cop Bruce Michaelson into working for the police-run prostitution and snuff film operation called “the Hooker Game”, Annie was taken to parties where young, mostly aboriginal girls were drugged, raped and killed on camera. The girls were then disposed of by Michaelson and one of the Vancouver serial killers, a Canadian military officer named Jean-Guy Boudrais. At these parties Annie saw Vancouver mayor and now Senator Larry Campbell, former Prime Minister Paul Martin and a host of lesser politicos. (2)

That said, anyone who works with west coast aboriginal people for very long learns quickly the real reasons why so many of them are going missing. It’s not so much because of lone demented psychopaths – although such monsters are certainly useful to the real culprits – as due to the corporate hunger for the bountiful native-held lands and resources of central and northern British Columbia. And these corporations get a lot of help not only from the feds themselves but aboriginal politicians closely tied to the government and NWAC, like “chief” Ed John, himself an accused woman-killer.

Ed John made his early fortune and political capital by evicting fellow Carrier-Sekani tribal members off their land for companies like Alcan and Interfor, and trafficking native children into the homes of wealthy pedocides. He also helped shut down the only independent tribunal into Indian residential schools in the summer of 1998 by terrorizing its witnesses through his hired goons. Ed’s efforts so impressed Ottawa that they eventually made him Canada’s “aboriginal representative” (I kid you not) at the United Nations. (3)

Ed’s also done his own share of raping and killing people, according to eyewitnesses like Les Geurin of the Musqueam Indian reserve in south Vancouver, where Ed lives along with his wife, national AFN chief and government hack Wendy Grant. The Musqueam reserve, according to Les who has uncovered some of the bones, is also a regular dumping ground for the remains of the very missing aboriginal women who will be “investigated” by Ed John’s buddies on the NWAC and its upcoming “inquiry”.

Of course, that kind of collusion between the suspects and the investigators is as Canadian as inside stock trading, or as the infamous quote from Indian Agent Gerald Barry who, upon concluding his “investigation” of the death of children in the United Church’s Ahousaht residential school in early 1940, wrote to his bosses in Ottawa,

“As this was the property of the church, care was taken to avoid too close an inquiry.” (4)

Everything points to a stupendous cover-up of thousands of missing native people that is already in the works, since the lawyers will once again be running the “Missing Women’s Inquiry”. The ones whom William Shakespeare urged us to kill have had long experience in hiding bodies on Canada’s west coast.

In 2004, after the lawyers for the families of some of Vancouver’s missing women were given forensic evidence that women’s remains had been uncovered from a garbage pit on Ed John’s Musqueam reserve, the lawyers steadfastly ignored it – naturally, since the new evidence upset the Big Fix agreed upon by lawyers on both sides, that a single “lone gunman”, Willy Pickton, had killed dozens of Vancouver women. Indeed, multiple body dumping sites would suggest a bigger criminal conspiracy than sorry Mr. Pickton, whom the police had already chosen as their only suspect. Cameron Ward, the main lawyer for the families, didn’t even return the calls or emails of Les Geurin, the Musqueam maintenance man who’d discovered the bones and had them analyzed and positively identified as being human. (5)

Ottawa has clearly learned its lesson from the Pickton trial, which revealed that Vancouver police knew for years of the killing center known as Piggy’s Palace in Coquitlam, and not only did nothing but were caught attending the all night raping and snuffing parties going on there. So to conceal the police and high level political involvement with the Picktons – who were in truth simply the body disposal crew for wealthier men who were doing the actual killings – the government is buying itself insurance for the latest “inquiry” by making a big show of “involving” families of the victims in the process. Such a move will head off any potentially independent critics and muckrakers who last time uncovered the police-Pickton connection. But such “involvement” will come at the price of silence and complicity in what will inevitably be another big getaway for the real killers. (6)

At the end of the day, no Canadian government will ever get to the bottom of and stop the trafficking and killing of aboriginal people, any more than child rape will ever be officially halted, and for the same reason: whenever the police dig very deep they find they’re investigating their own bosses and their friends. As Nishga activist Carol Martin reminds us about the Disappeared of Canada, “It’s just the residential schools genocide taken to its next step”.

What is necessary is for the community to take action on its own, over and against the established authorities, as George Brown and others have done. Indeed, launching such independent, citizen-based inquiries with the power to arrest and prosecute the ones killing our neighbours is the only recourse left for Canadians who want to do more than simply remember the Disappeared. To do that, we’ll first need to establish our own common law courts and step outside the sordid “crown” jurisdiction entirely, nourished by the will and freedom to make such a change happen. But considering our sorry track record to date, that kind of daring by Canadians is as likely as Justin Trudeau naming the names of all the child trading politicians.

Nevertheless, do stay tuned. It can only get ever more amusing, to those with eyes to see and hearts to revolt.

Three Minute Memories triumph again: “Liberals” trounce “Conservatives” in the Canadian election – but the Corporation carries on, for now

by Kevin D. Annett

Illusion is the most tenacious trait in humanity. History teaches but it has no pupils.

- Antonio Gramsci

Two millenia ago, the emperors of the Chin dynasty developed the earliest known type of crowd control. An especially hated minister of the government would periodically be thrown to the mob and ripped to pieces, thereby satiating the restlessness and rage of the people while keeping Imperial power safely intact.

This system was later perfected into something we call voting.

I can’t say I was surprised yesterday when a majority Liberal government was appointed over the ashes of one of the most hated political regimes in Canadian history. That’s how the game works, after all: the old tag-team operation of manufactured change designed to convince the mob that it’s really achieved something by bringing in the new guy.

Like those similarly deposed rulers named “Pope” Benedict and President George Bush junior, Prime Minister Stephen Harper increasingly and expertly played his role of irredeemable villain in order to draw upon himself the hatred of a majority of the electorate, allowing his attractive, smiling Liberal replacement to be acclaimed and loved by the crowd simply for looking nicer. This kind of puppet show worked admirably for those other Villains’ appointed successors, President Obama and “Pope Francis”; and now it’s worked equally well for Justin Trudeau, that paltry reincarnation of his wife beating and child molesting father Pierre.

Meanwhile, the election game concluded, the Empire will carry on, for now: the mob “democratically” satiated, the Corporatocracy preserved.

Any Canadian who has the semblance of a political memory must find the entire thing more than repulsive, especially if we remember how the same apparent changing of the guard happened not so long ago after an equally despised Tory Prime Minister, Brian Mulroney, saw his party wiped out and reduced to two seats in Parliament on the wave of the same kind of Liberal landslide. Then, after years of the same kind of mob-ruled corruption, the Tories under Stephen Harper took over again with the same promising of goodness.

And so on.

I’ve always hated ping pong. It seems so mindless and repetitive – just like Canadian voting patterns. Strait jacketed by a two party bi-polarism, Canadians exhibit the cyclical behavior pattern of an untreated manic depressive, feverishly handing total power first to one palliative and then to another, and never learning a thing in the process. The farce is almost like American politics, except it’s a hell of a lot more boring north of the border.

Like mashed potatoes without the gravy, to quote Canuckophobe Billy Bob Thornton.

I don’t imagine any of this reality will register with the smug electorate who think they did something on October 19, even when their momentarily shiny and new Prime Minister stands up in Parliament and with all the other neophyte Pigs at the Trough takes his oath of loyalty not to those who elected him or to a Constitution, but to a senile pederast in London. But surely it’s time for those of us who call ourselves awakened to do something more than gripe about the tragic-comedy called Canada, Ltd.

Blasted out of my own accommodation to Canadiana by what I discovered up close about the masses of little corpses upon which this nation is built, I have called for a Republic for years now: not as a nice idea but as a moral and lawful necessity. It’s not a new call: MacKenzie, Papineau, my ancestor Philip Annett and lots of other folks tried unsuccessfully to create such a Republic in arms in 1837. But history and our own recent efforts show us the truth that regardless of what opinion polls will tell you, Canadians aren’t ready for self-government – including the ones who say they are.

Simply put, they lack the courage.

I’ve met and worked with a lot of smart, militant and good-hearted Canadians over the decades, but I know very few courageous ones. Many of the paper members of our fledgling Republic of Kanata movement are experts in common law court procedure and how to wangle yourself out of paying personal income taxes. Some of them even tepidly challenge the system as one man shows and become internet celebrities. But the valor and the consistent will that breaks down every obstacle and forces a revolutionary movement into being is rarely to be found in Canada.

We can, and do, blame our upbringing for this, of course. Who of us in Canadian schools didn’t have pumped into our vulnerable little brains the recurring refrain that we are not free citizens, but “loyal subjects” of someone calling herself a Queen? The hilariously accurate scene from the comedy “Canadian Bacon”, in which every Canuck in a crowd keeps saying “Sorry!” to the rowdy American who keeps slamming into all of them, tells it all, in a way. Canadian “niceness” is in reality just veiled over cowardice.

During the critical years from 2005 to 2008 when a few of us forced our home grown Genocide into mainstream consciousness, I couldn’t find many other Canadians to occupy churches with us. It was mostly aboriginals who did so, and a host of them paid for their courage with their lives. White Canada hung back and watched our actions in trepidation – especially the “progressives”. Still to this day, the idea that we, the people, have the power to nullify criminal institutions, convene our own courts and take back our country is one that frightens most Canadians – including those in our Kanata network.

In that sense, it’s perhaps small wonder that the recent October 19 election witnessed one of the biggest voter turnouts in Canadian history, if you believe the corporate media. “Change” for Canadians still means timidly handing over their authority to somebody else – even to unaccountable servants of a foreign criminal power, and to the real rulers like Power Corporation and the Bronfman and Desmarais families.

Nevertheless, as Sun Tzu reminds us, change and uncertainty is the only constant in the universe. There is a new spirit in the land, even here in Canada: but it can only be detected close up.

So, in closing, some words from the wise: when you see that spirit becoming embodied and emerging in your own neighborhood – in closed down crown courts and reclaimed property, in the citizen arrests of child rapists and criminally convicted church and state officials, and even in new Peoples’ Assemblies of local self-governance – be sure not to act like a Canadian. Don’t draw the curtains, or run for help to see if it’s all “legal”. Instead, have the fortitude to forget who you think you are and stand with us, and risk everything for our one improbable chance at liberty.

Canada hides its Genocide to Conceal ongoing Crimes

This week, Canada and its churches publicly whitewashed their killing of tens of thousands of indigenous children with an “official report” that exonerates the perpetrators, and hides continuing genocide . But according to Kevin Annett, who has exposed the Canadian Holocaust for over 20 years, Christian Canada and the British Crown are now morally and legally nullified, and a new Republic is lawfully warranted .

Canada’s Elaborate Coverup of its own Genocide nevertheless proves Guilt, Criminal Intent of Government, Churches
“They have lost their legal and moral right to exist …” – Brussels Tribunal

Ottawa:

Canada’s expensive, seven year attempt to whitewash its mass murder of aboriginal children ended in lies and shame yesterday, when the state-funded “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” (TRC) released its final report into the murderous Indian residential school system that obscured more than it revealed – and held nobody liable for the worst crime in Canadian history.

The $68 million TRC report acknowledged that genocide had in fact taken place in Canada, but named no perpetrators, ignored the legal consequences of this crime, and effectively absolved Canada and its churches for the systemic rape, torture and killing of aboriginal children that spanned over a century.

Plagued by corruption and tampering, and openly snubbing international law and due process by muzzling eyewitnesses and destroying crucial evidence, the TRC concluded by reporting that thousands of children “may have” died in the Indian residential school system, despite its own confirmed evidence of tens of thousands of such deaths.

Justifying the evasion of this truth, TRC Chairman Murray Sinclair, who was indicted by an international court in 2013 of obstructing justice and concealing genocidal acts, lied publicly yesterday when he claimed that “the (Canadian) government stopped publishing residential school death records in 1920″. In fact, reports of students’ deaths, and a constant mortality rate of between 40% and 60%, were continually published by the government until at least 1969, as was proven by independent researcher Rev. Kevin Annett in 1998, and subsequently.

In a public statement issued today and to be broadcast on youtube, Kevin Annett remarked,

“The little of the truth of the Canadian Holocaust that the TRC has admitted is simply a rehashing of everything I first made public in June of 1998, at our own independent inquiry. The TRC has simply stage-managed a public absolution of the churches and government that together exterminated more than 50,000 children. No-one will go to jail for these murders: the TRC was set up to ensure that. This is yet another national crime!”

Commenting from Brussels on the TRC report, a spokeswoman for the International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State (ITCCS), the body that prosecuted Canada and its churches for Genocide in 2012 and 2013, said today,

“Churches and governments that committed and concealed such horrible crimes have no right under the law of nations to conduct self-managed ‘inquiries’ of themselves, as has happened in Canada. So we consider the TRC report a clear obstruction of the law and of justice, and it does not diminish by one iota the criminal liability of Canada and its churches, and their sponsors in London and Rome, for these war crimes. Frankly, these bodies have lost the moral and legal right to exist.””

In Winnipeg, and in response to the TRC report, the Provisional Council of the lawfully-proclaimed Republic of Kanata announced a renewed campaign to “dismantle this criminal conspiracy called Canada, and enforce the standing Citizen’s Arrest Warrants against thirty leaders of church and state in Canada”, including TRC chairman Murray Sinclair.

“They’ve admitted their crime and stand condemned under the law. Now it’s up to We the People to punish those criminals and their system, to cleanse our country of their legacy of child killing” stated Kevin Annett today.

Mohawk elder Bill Squire commences dig for missing children
Mohawk Anglican school, October 2011
This Sunday, May 3, Radio Free Kanata uncovers crimes by the church and crown of England in Brantford, Ontario – and how the guilty were brought to common law trial.
Generations of children were ritually raped, tortured and killed at the Anglican church’s Mohawk Indian school in Brantford, and thrown into mass graves nearby. But in 2011, those graves were opened for the first time, by Mohawk elders and people like Lori O’Rorke, who was part of an International Tribunal’s inquiry into crimes at the school.
Lori joins us on this Sunday’s show. And this month, other activists in Ontario are continuing the work to arrest the church officials responsible for these killings and their concealment: a campaign sponsored by the Republic of Kanata, its Sheriffs and its High Court of Justice.

An Urgent Directive to all Sheriffs and Peace Officers of the Republic, and their Direct Action Groups (DAG’s):

Thirty men and women – all of them officials of church and state, plus one corporate CEO – were lawfully convicted in February, 2013 of committing or concealing unspeakable Crimes against Humanity across Kanata, including the torture, trafficking and killing of children. These guilty individuals were all sentenced to twenty five years in prison or permanent banishment from Kanata.

It is now the job of all Republican Sheriffs and citizens to immediately arrest and detain or banish these guilty criminals, who are wanted felons and Public Enemies under the law. You will be acting under the authority and warrants of the High Court of Justice of the Republic.

A complete dossier of these convictions and court order will be provided to you as part of your training for this mission. The names and locations of the guilty are listed below. The Arrest Warrant issued against each party by the Republic’s High Court of Justice will be provided to you upon completion of your training.

The guilty parties include heads of state like Elizabeth Windsor, Stephen Harper and Joseph Ratzinger, officials of the Catholic, Anglican and United Church of Canada, RCMP officers, and lower level functionaries.

Arrest Procedure:

Upon receiving the High Court of Justice Arrest Warrant, Republic Sheriffs and their citizen-based Direct Action groups will apprehend the convicted party named in the Warrant and declare them to be under arrest. The following statement will then be read to them in front of at least three witnesses, and filmed and broadcast for posterity:

(Name of Apprehended party), you have been lawfully convicted of committing or concealing crimes against humanity on the soil of Kanata, and accordingly have been sentenced to twenty five years in prison or permanent banishment from Kanata. You are hereby declared to be a public enemy. As an officer of the Republic of Kanata, and acting under the authority of the court’s verdict, and of this Warrant of the High Court of Justice of the Republic of Kanata, I hereby order you to immediately comply with this Warrant and either surrender yourself to me for incarceration, or leave our country immediately, and never return. If you fail to comply with this Warrant, harsher measures will be taken against you. Do you understand what I have said to you and will you comply?”

If the party complies, he or she will be led away by you and taken to the border for deportation. More likely, they will ignore or deny the Warrant and their guilt, in which case you will respond,

You have twenty four hours to comply with this Warrant.”

After 24 hours, you will return with others in your DAG and enforce the Warrant.

You may approach local police, deputize them as common law peace officers, and seek their assistance in the arrests.

The DAG that accompanies you must consist of at least five people, including a videographer to record the event, and someone to act as a liaison with the press, or with the police or other security if they try to intervene.
